I have taken a brief hiatus from posting to spend time with my family through the Holidays, but I am back to stamping every day again and hope to be back to my regular blogging schedule, showing you all the great new products in some amazing new cards.

My first card uses products from the Cake Soirée Suite of products. The Sweet Cake Framelits have some dies with detailed cut outs as you can see in the Silver Foil Cake Stand on my card. This suite has some gorgeous ribbon, Silver embossing paste and a cake decorating mask that are just wonderful to add interest to your cards and projects. Stamps: Cake Soirée
Paper: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Silver Foil, Berry Burst
Stamp Pad: Basic Gray
Big Shot: Sweet Cake Framelits
Misc.: Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Stampin’ Blends: Berry Burst, Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight

Measurements:
Thick Whisper White – 11” x 4-1/4”, score at 5-1/2”
Whisper White – 4” x 5-1/4”, scrap for cake die cut
Silver Foil – scraps for cake stand and pedestal die cuts
Berry Burst – scraps for ribbon die
Ribbon – 14”

What I did:

Stamp the cake in Basic Gray on the Whisper White scrap paper. Color in using the Stampin’ Blends. Using the Big Shot and the Sweet Cake Framelits, die cut the stamped cake, the ribbon in Berry Burst paper and the cake plate and pedestal in Silver Foil.

Stamp your sentiment on the Whisper White paper in Berry Burst ink. Adhere the ribbon as shown. Attach the plate, pedestal and cake using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach this to the card base.

Attach the die cut ribbon to the cake and place Rhinestone on top. Enjoy!
