This card is great for using up scrap pieces of designer series paper. I used two coordinating papers, but you could use solid color card stock as well.

Love Blossoms

Supplies:
Stamps: Bloomin’ Love
Ink: Rose Red
Paper: Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Rose Red
Misc.: White Perfect Accents, Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder

Measurements:
Whisper White: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, 4” x 5 ¼”, scrap for sentiment
Rose Red: 2 pcs. 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”
Love Blossoms DSP: 4 pcs – 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”, 4 pcs. – 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”

Directions:

  1. Fold and Crease white card stock into card base.
  2. Run the other piece of white card stock through the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder and adhere to card base
  3. Adhere the two large Rose Red squares to each other at right angles to make the base for the pinwheel. Use a piece of graph paper as a guide to help you line them up.

  5. Alternate the smaller squares and adhere them to each corner of the base. Do not adhere both sides of the first square. When you get back around to it, you will need to lift up the side to slip the other square underneath.

  7. Adhere the white Accent to the center. Attach to your card using dimensionals.
  8. Stamp the frame and sentiment on a piece of whisper white scrap paper. Fussy cut out and adhere with dimensionals to your card.

It’s My Party

Supplies:
Stamps: Build a Birthday
Ink: Crushed Curry
Paper: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Basic Black, It’s My Party Designer Series Paper
Misc.: Confetti Embossing Folder, Washi Label Punch, Banner Triple Punch, It’s My Party Enamel Dots

Measurements:
Crushed Curry: 8 ½” x 5 ½”
Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼”, scrap for sentiment and banner
Crushed Curry: 2 pcs. 2 5/8” x 2 5/8”
It’s My Party DSP: 4 pcs – 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”, 4 pcs. – 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”
Basic Black – 1” x 5”

Directions:

  1. Fold and Crease Crushed Curry stock into card base.
  2. Run the piece of white card stock through the Confetti Embossing Folder and adhere to card base
  3. Adhere the two large Crushed Curry squares to each other at right angles to make the base for the pinwheel. Use a piece of graph paper as a guide to help you line them up.

  5. Alternate the smaller squares and adhere them to each corner of the base. Do not adhere both sides of the first square. When you get back around to it, you will need to lift up the side to slip the other square underneath.

  7. Adhere the enamel dot to the center. Attach to your card using dimensionals.
  8. Stamp the sentiment and one of the cake pieces from Build a Birthday Stamp Set on a piece of whisper white scrap paper in Cruhed Curry ink. Fussy cut out the cake piece. Punch out the sentiment with the Washi Label Punch.
  9. Punch the Basic Black on both sides with the Banner Triple Punch.
  10. Layer on card as shown. Using dimensionals to attach the sentiment.
