Tulips are one of my favorite flowers to see in the Spring. It means winter is on its way out and warmer weather is on the way. This paper flower I made reminds me of a tulip and is made by punching three oval shapes and attaching them together.
Supplies:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Blushing Bride, Garden Green, Whisper White, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper
Ink: Blushing Bride
Punches: Large Oval Punch, Washi Label, Bird Builder, Word Window, 1 ¼” scallop circle
Misc. Metallic Foil Doilies, Jewels Basic Rhinestone, Sponges
Measurements:
Whisper White: 8 ½ x 5 ½, Word Window punch with sentiment
Love Blossoms DSP: 4 x 5 ¼, 3 Large Oval Punches
Blushing Bride: Washi Label, Scallop punch
Garden Green: 2 leaf punches from Bird Builder, stem – ¼” x 3 ½”
Directions:
- Sponge the edges of the 3 ovals with Blushing Bride ink. Layer to make flower. Attach Blushing Bride scallop circle on bottom of flower. Use scissors to trim. Attach rhinestones.
- Stamp sentiment in Blushing Bride on Whisper White. Punch with Word Window. Attach to Washi Label.
- Start assembling card. Fold and crease Whisper White card stock into card base. layer on Love Blossoms DSP, silver foil doily, flower, stem and leaves.
- Attach sentiment.
