This is a simple card, but one of my favorites this season.

I really liked the original card I made, but thought it needed a little something extra. If you scroll down to the last picture you can see that I added the ‘Cardinal’ bird and it seemed to complete the card. The bird is made using the retired Bird Builder Punch.

Stamps: Suit Seasons
Paper: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Emerald Envy, Presents and Pinecones DSP
Stamp Pad: Cherry Cobbler
Markers: Emerald Envy
Big Shot: Layering Ovals Framelits
Misc.: Holly Textured Embossing Folder, Q tips

Whisper White: 8 ½ x 5 ½, Oval framelit
Presents & Pinecones: 5 ¼ x 4
Cherry Cobbler: 5 ¼ x 1 ½, Oval framelit
Emerald Envy: 5 ¼ x 1 ¼ – embossed with the Holly Textured Embossing Folder

Directions for the Sentiment: I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. I used a Q tip soaked in stamp cleaner to clean off the branch.  I then used the Emerald Envy marker to color in the branch.
