Shooting Heart Valentine with Bloomin’ Heart Thinlet

I seem to be using the Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake colors a lot lately. I do like bright colors, but these two colors seem to work well together for a nice subtle look.

Today, I am entering this card in the latest Global Design Project challenge. It is a CASE the Designer challenge, which means Copy and Selectively Edit the designers card sample. I chose to keep the center focus on a star and scatter little stars around it. (The designer, Connie Collins, had a center heart with little hearts scattered around.) Check out their challenge page here!

Denise, What a creative way to convert this heart into a star – such a great project, and I love how you’ve used Connie’s project as inspiration. The scattered stars are perfect! Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Case the Designer (Connie Collins) Challenge at Global Design Project.

What a great interpretation of Connie’s original design. The stars work beautifully and have a lovey softness about them in those colours. I love the die cut overlay too. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us.
