This layered Butterfly card uses the retired Blackberry Bliss colors to coordinate with the new Sweet Sugar Plum colors. We all have leftover retired product and just because it is retired it doesn’t mean we can’t still use it with our new products. I like how the lighter color really pops on the dark color.

Stamps: Thoughtful Banners
Paper: Very Vanilla, Sweet Sugarplum, Farmers Market DSP, Blackberry Bliss
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Craft White
Big Shot Dies: Bold Butterfly Framelit, Butterflies Thinlits
Punches: Duet Banner Punch
Misc.: Metallic Foil Doilies, Floral Affection Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Jewels, sponges, Big Shot

Very Vanilla: card base -8 ½” x 5 ½”

  • I ran the Sweet Sugarplum strip of paper through the Big Shot twice to create the embossing going down the whole strip.
  • The edges of the solid Blackberry Butterfly are sponged with Craft White ink.
