Wild About Flowers Color Challenges

These cards were inspired by two different Color Challenges I recently saw on-line. The first card is made using Soft Suede, Powder Pink and Pear Pizzazz. The second card is made using Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi and Berry Burst. I used the same card sketch and stamp set for these cards and just had to change the color combination to get two similar but different cards.

Stamps: Wild About Flowers
Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Powder Pink, Coffee Break DSP
Stamp Pad: Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink
Big Shot: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits
Misc.: ½” Finely Woven Ribbon Powder Pink

Very Vanilla (card base): 8 ½ x 5 ½, score 4 1/4
Soft Suede: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Coffee Break DSP: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8

Stamps: Wild about Flowers
Paper: Crumb Cake (card base), Wild Wasabi, Color Theory DSP, Whisper White, Berry Burst
Stamp Pad: Berry Burst, Wild Wasabi
Big Shot: Layering Ovals Framelits
Misc.: 3/8” Classic Weave Ribbon Crumb Cake

Crumb Cake (card base): 8 ½ x 5 ½, score 4 1/4
Wild Wasabi: 4 x 5 ¼
Color Theory DSP: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8

  • Stamp flower stems on card stock using the Wild About Flowers stamp set. Then stamp the coordinating flowers on the stems using the same stamp set.
  • Die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Ovals Framelits on the Big Shot. Then die cut the card stock for layering under the flower ovals.
  • Layer the DSP on the card stock. Tie the ribbon around them. Attach this to the card base.
  • Attach the flower layers onto the card base using Dimensionals.
  • Enjoy!
